SUNDAY SCHOOL

While Michael's sermons are important in teaching us God's word and how to apply it to our lives, our Sunday School program takes this education one step further by giving everyone a chance to participate in the discussion. The Sunday School hour provides a chance to ask questions, answer questions, or just listen to the discussion. We offer Sunday School classes for all ages. Classes start at 10:00 am every Sunday morning.

BIBLE STUDY

The purpose of our Bible study groups is to enrich our Christian growth by keeping us in God's word throughout the week, not only on Sunday mornings. We currently have several groups that are meeting, but this ministry is growing and we pray that more groups will form and more people will get involved. Most groups meet year-round and study a variety of topics, but occasionally a short term Bible study will be held such as the Andy Griffith study being held this summer.

MUSIC MINISTRY

The Music Ministry includes adult choir, children's choir, and youth choir in addition to encouraging those who want to perform solos and musical specials. We have a praise band that includes a piano, bass guitar, and drums that leads us in music during the worship hour. The adult choir performs a Christmas cantata every year and occasionally visits other churches and retirement homes to sing a collection of special music.

MISSIONS MINISTRY

Our Missions Ministry is very active through raising money for the United Methodist missions fund and always supporting our members on a variety of mission trips. Salkehatchie Mission Trip: Every year, we have two large groups of people to go out to various communities in SC that are in need of housing repair and through the sweat, give hope to these needy people. This is a great opportunity to witness to these people that we help.

MEN'S MINISTRY

The Men's Ministry is an active body of men in our church that serve the Lord and our church. The men offer handyman services to anyone in need in our church or community, have occasional workdays at the church, raise money through such events as the yearly BBQ sale, and occasionally get together for fellowship and, of course, lots of eating. Every year, the men go to Promise Keepers, a worship rally for Christian men that includes great speakers, praise music and fun fellowship with your brothers in Christ. A golf trip to Santee, SC is also planned every year which always has a great turnout.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

The Women's Ministry is also an active part of our church by offering times of fellowship together such as scrapbooking parties, participation in workdays at the church, and a yearly trip to the Women of Faith conference, a worship rally for women similar to the men's Promise Keeper's rally. The women also attend other conference throughout the year.

YOUTH MINISTRY

The Youth Ministry is active in involving our teenagers in Bible studies, special events, and retreats. Some youth activities include weekly youth meetings, monthly youth activities, Soul Survivor Games, and summer mission trips.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

The Children's Ministry offers a variety of opportunities for the kids at our church and the community. Some of these opportunities include Clemson University's Building Dreams Mentoring program, children's church (during the worship hour), Little Christians, Vacation Bible School and other children's activities.

ARUMC ACADEMY OF LEARNING

The ARUMC Academy of Learning is an extension of our Children's Ministry by offering Biblical based after-school classes to children in the community in grades K5 through 5th grade. This program is growing and will always welcome new students.
